Meet Dr. Angera Ma

For me, dentistry is the perfect marriage between friend, scientist, and craftsman. My work days are never boring because every treatment plan is custom tailored for each patient. I take pride in making sure I address the patient’s chief concern and making sure it was a positive experience. I am grateful to not only brighten someone’s smile, but also brighten their day.

Education and Professional Activities

Dr. Ma grew up on the east coast in High Point, North Carolina, and attended North Carolina State University where she received her Bachelors of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering. She received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

She has been in private practice for over 10 years and has been a part Stephens Dentistry in Evanston, Illinois, since 2019.

Dr. Ma is a member of the American Dental Association, the Illinois State Dental Society, and the Chicago Dental Society. She believes in lifelong learning and is an active participant in multiple North Suburban professional dental study clubs.

Beyond the Office

Dr. Ma’s husband is a military dentist for the United States Navy, and they live in Wilmette with their 5-year-old son.
